Absolutely gorgeous car! Those miles are original, it is not a rebuild? Amazing. I wonder how it ended up in such pristine shape, with such low miles. I'm sure there is a story behind that.

Hey guys I knew the previous owner of the car very well and know it’s backstory. The car was apart of the Steve Ames museum where he collected some of the nicest low mile cars in the world. He only bought original paint, low mile, perfect or near perfect cars. This being one of them. Pictures do not do this car justice, the interior still smells new. Probably the nicest 86 regal that’s not a grand national in the world. Unfortunately steve passed away and a lot of the cars were sold off. Can bid with absolute confidence on this one.

I'm always amazed at the number of ridiculous low mile cars that continuously show up on BaT. You would think the supply would eventually run out, but with millions of cars built every year I guess it's bound to happen.

Ford has a department dedicated to recover missing cars that number thousands every year. In 2015, I purchased a 2012 Expedition with every option and 292 miles at about 50% off original invoice. Apparently, a dozen identical Expeditions were used for VIP's at the Tournament of Roses Parade only to be discovered years later at a large parking garage in LA.

Nice looking car for sure. I'm surprised it has the three speed trans in it.
