Interesting way they did the two-tone on these (It IS 'factory'.) I don't recall ever seeing a Parisienne wagon done this way, though.......

Just did an image search.....not a single one. They're all either single color, or single color with woodgrain.

I am not too surprised by that, though a nice example, not many peoples dream car. I could see buying it for a summer DD but not as a collector car. I never knew what GM was thinking when they fell in love with that light gray Velour fabric in the mid 1980's. It looked good until you let a kid with a Slurpee or a just out of some sports practice ride in it. Then forever looked dirty and worn.
And for some reason I never cared for the later Pontiac B-body gauge packages, large outer needs pointing down, and the inner ones pointing up always bugged me for some reason.

All that said I still think this is a fine example, and I probably would not have let it go for under $10,000 either.

The other bummer about this car is the lame Caprice-style tail lights vs. the classy Bonneville ones they used in '77-81 and '85-86.

It is a nice example though. The parking brake release cable breaking seems to be a more and more common thing I'm encountering on these cars lately, seems like everyone's cable is busted on the '71-76 big cars and now the '77-80s big ones too.

They only last so long when constantly used. I hope replacements are available.

The broken side marker lamp hardly helps.
