This as nice a Phoenix as you are ever likely to find at this point. V8 - $3795. https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/d/1979-pontiac-phoenix-lj/6369474240.html
Ha--I've been to that place where the car was photographed! I never saw it around the last time i was there, though, and I would've remembered that Phoenix if I'd seen it.
Is the seller a dealer? It's certainly a nicely-written ad that sounds like dealer-style chatter. But his problem is a basic one. As nice as the car is, there's just no market for them. No one is beating down the doors looking for the late '70s Pontiac version of a Chevy Nova. He calls it an "iconic classic." Iconic to who?
To me this qualify as cheap wheels at this point. https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/d/1979-pontiac-phoenix-lj/6369474240.html
Well, hey, if you decide to pursue it, I'm available to get it fully inspected...mabye even drive it to Michigan if you buy it.
No, this Hobo don't partake. Never has, never will. Now, Doritos crumbs and McDonald's wrappers, that's my game.
