To me the paint color is gag-inducing, but it is very tempting at just $2800. I'd have to repaint it white or dark blue. https://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/cto/6095169731.html
What?! This color scheme can't be original. Anyone ordering something like this had better intend on keeping it. I'd hate to be the agent attempting to sell this for someone. Liberace and George Michael are now dead. So, who would be a potential buyer, for this?
Oh, for chrissakes! There's nothing wrong with light blue. If I could afford the price, I'd buy and drive it. I'd likely also swap the drivetrains between it and Babe so I could pop in an AOD with the 351W, and just have the 351M/FMX for Babe.
For what ever reason the light pastel colors were very popular in the late70's to early 80's. I remember my sisters light blue "Sky Bird" firebird, I hated the colors back when it was new. It could be worse on the eyes than the T-Bird. But for that price I would drive it.
Baby blue or not - that's a nice buy!!! A set or 20" Detroit Steel wheels and air ride and this thing would look killer!!!
Looks like a good deal on a Heritage. I like the color. Looks like it's missing its A/C compressor. And someone has added a 4 barrel and aluminum intake.
A Bill Blass Thunderbird (if there were to have been one) would have been a decent color scheme, also: http://www.classiccarstodayonline.c...al-mark-v/1977-lincoln-mark-v-bill-blass-aaa/
The equivalent Thunderbird was available in 1978 as the Sports Décor option (paint could also be dark blue). I never cared for the trunk straps or colored wheels part.
It's twin is on E Bay http://www.ebay.com/itm/1979-Ford-T...ash=item2127a7f1cd:g:B3IAAOSwv2JXwiBe&vxp=mtr
I agree I don't know what they were thinking with the fake trunk straps, but I don't understand Continental tire kits either.
