Nice-looking car, but that console shifter certainly wasn't available from the factory, was it? Not in this car.

In a Holiday coupe? It's possible. Gotta check the brochure to confirm, though. However, that is very cool.

Those Bucket seats were available on the Holiday Coupes, always suprises me when I see one so equipped. This one looks great, I like the colors. Even has a 350 powering it, so it should be kinda quick compared to a 307 powered version.

    Very interesting!

I have the 1978 Oldsmobile Sales Handbook, and it makes no mention of a console shifter. All it says it say is that a column-shift automatic was standard on all Delta 88 and Delta 88 Royale styles. That page you post shows that the console was standard on the Holiday Coupe. No mention of that in the handbook.

Delta 88 Holiday Coupe was available 78-80 only. The bucket seats and floor shift console were part of the Holiday package. Very rare at the time; even more so now.

Cool car and love the rally wheels.

Either the vinyl top needs cleaned or it's getting dry, looks funky in the pics.
