    I just miss how *everywhere* these cars were... until they weren't. I wanted one pretty badly in high school and it seemed like there were dozens everywhere and kids in school had them too. Now the only place I see them is on auction sites.

    Yep, I agree. These were the most popular of all T-bird generations. And don't forget how many GM G-body coupes were around during the 80s too. Even down here in the desert they are largely gone too.
