No Reserve: 1978 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham for sale on BaT Auctions - ending January 6 (Lot #62,924) | Bring a Trailer
The end of the road for the 1974 Imperial (basic design/front end). Now a 5-year span on a basic design isn't a huge deal, but the same design then, running from 74 to 78, Seemed like a long time.
Only 1 day left. Top bid currently at $8,000. (This is really just a placeholder for when the REAL bidding starts, around 12:30Pm tomorrow (about an hour before the auction ends....)
Curious about this one. May have been a competitor of the Cadillacs and Continentals of that era but for me it just doesn't have the charisma or beauty of those cars. Then again, the Mopar lovers could go crazy for it.
I agree with your very valid point. Then I’m drawn back to the Buick Century of 1982-1996. About 1990 I started joking that I figured out why they called it a Century. That was gonna be the design run.
"I only bid as a joke, I didn't think I'd win. Don't worry, I can sell for more than i bought it for. " Then car shows here i come.
Yeah Mark, these are nice driving cars. You will enjoy this one. I still kick myself in the ass for selling my '77.
my bid by accident was a joke,. my dad had a 74 imperial, gold, with gold velour seats. a hard car to vacuum when i was in middle school. getting in all those buttons was tough.
