    I hate the Ambassador's even more, from '68 on up.
    Not only is the asking price for this north eastern ugly salt duckling illusionary. To even go near asking for it, the doors should align properly and the hood close. The Bondo wave at the bottom of the doors and rough carpet should be humbling Gateway "Classics", instead

    I like the Earl Scheib Paint work myself . I think it could be a nice car for about 1/3 the asking price, ok maybe 1/4 due to the bad paint.

    Is it me or do the driver and passenger door outside mirrors not match? Tons of pictures of all of the paint and body defects, but hardly anything of the interior and no engine or underbody pics? I don't hate the body style, but I do like to make fun of it. Another grossly overpriced car from Gateway. I feel sorry for whoever they unload this on to.

    His rationale is that a 1967 Country Squire with really bad original paint just went for $50,000. So a rarer last year Matador that’s all one color has got to be worth at least half of what the Ford hauled in.

    Dealer is a big consignment outfit. They add at least $2500 to the sellers ask. I don’t know how they sell anything, but the showroom is a nice museum.

    all the flaws and design aside, If that car was in nice condition inside and out, with that blue and those rims , I like it. At that , if it was nice in and out maybe $8500- $10,000 tops . In that condition and paint job, $4500-$5500 maybe
