That's just too, too fine!! I always wanted one of the first three year downsized Bonnevilles. I certainly hope it ends up with a collector at that price. Strangely, I don't care for those (real) wire wheels, I like the factory wire wheel covers.
Just because seller is asking $10K does not mean they are going to get it, the forum is full of cars like that with Burry it Jackstone prices. Is a dam stunning car though, wheels don't do it for me but that personal preference and can be changed. I also really like the green on green witch many hate, it's not like everyone else's gimi colour on tan interior ( No offence KK, I'll take your wagon in a second)
In my opinion, this one is worth every penny of the $10,000. The condition is extraordinary, the equipment level is about as good as it gets on one of these, including the Brougham package which is not overly common, and then there is that colour. Simply amazing car. I wish I had the cash and a garage, and I am not really a G.M. fan.
I love the green, too. I remember one of the first wagons I drooled over after joining the SWF was a 2-tone green (no wood) '77 Bonneville, green interior.
Here's a 1976 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham coupe for just $4700! Beautiful! http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/4341138328.html
