My Mom had a 1976 Cutlass Salon with the 350 V8.

It was a great car.

 

IMO 1970s Cutlasses are great cars. In that time they were everywhere and driven by everybody.

 

The slope-nose (76-77?) ones look cool. I wouldn't mind having one of them, preferably a 442.

My first thought was $25 k was high, then I read the bidding comments. This Olds had four serious bidders to almost the end and tons of comments from people saying how much they loved the Cutlass back in its day. Well bought.
