1977 Lincoln Versailles 'California Parade Car'. Originally was a 4-door sedan. The posts were drilled out and replaced with 2 Ford Granada doors and latches. Convertible cover is fixed. A retractible top can be installed. Car includes a 302 4-barrel engine, 4 disc brakes, 8-track quadriphonic system working, an extra engine control modual, and a clean title. The car is not California smogged. Cars registered outside of populated areas are exempt. Call for more information. Thanks!

I'd be wondering how this was actually built. Easiest way would be to start with a 2-door Granada or Monarch, swap on a Versailles front clip and dash, then chop the top and install the Versailles bits in back (deck lid and tail lights). So first thing, I would want to see if it was actually titled as Lincoln, with a Lincoln VIN.

Good point. Oh, and people...it's not "Quadraphonic," as it does not have four discrete sound channels, but "Quadrasonic," which had two discrete channels but four speakers. A little bit of license and chicanery on FoMoCo's part.

I actually know the owner. He started with a 4-door Lincoln Versailles, so it is registered as such. He used a two-door Granada for the doors (which is why it has manual windows).
