    Yes, that's definitely an exhaust leak from under the car. He admits as much when he says the exhaust is "a little loud." That should be a relatively easy fix by any muffler shop. I'm surprised he even includes a photo like this as it certainly does nothing to sell the car.

    What's more concerning is this bend in the hood. I wonder what happened to cause this. I think the only real solution is a replacement hood, which would likely have to be repainted, which means the whole car would need to be repainted if the paint is to match.

    This rust doesn't exactly tickle my fancy, either. I'd like to see what the car looks like underneath, but he doesn't show any photos of that.

    The auction has no reserve, so he apparently would accept his starting bid of $3,500 as the final price if the auction ended that way. I would say that $3,500 is a top-end value for this car in its current condition, and I certainly wouldn't pay much more than that. If he gets any bids at all, he should sell the car.
