    Most will remember the full-size Riviera’s for Bill Mitchell’s flamboyant design of the ‘71-73 boat tail. Sales never came close to expectations, so the same body was hastily reworked for ‘74-76 with a formal roofline just like every other mid-70’s personal luxury coupe. Sales didn’t improve and this version just got lost in history.
