He's got so many other photos, why did he bother posting this one? Seeing garage junk stored on top of it doesn't exactly give me a warm, fuzzy feeling. He's hurting himself by showing this.

Yeah I’m sure that lawnmower piled against the rear fender and all the other crap didn’t put any scratches on it. And like you both have pointed out, even by some miraculous chance there wasn’t a scratch on it. Why cast any doubt. That only makes me wonder what order the pictures were taken in. Do you go pick up your winning bid car and have the garage door open to that?

I agree, rare car seldom seen when new. I only saw 1 on the road in the 1970's. I like it.

But the base steering wheel and no gauges distract from the interior.

That's all Buick offered on it? Wow. Even Oldsmobile had better steering wheel choices back then.

They offered 2 better steering wheels, this car just does not have either.

Buick at its heart was very much an old man car company. Even their sportier cars came with base things like this steering wheel. I'm not even sure you could get gauges on this year Century - I haven't looked at the brochure, but I know in other years it wasn't possible.

I get the distinct impression that the pic in the garage, with all the crapola all around it, is its current state. Those cheesecake pics were from an earlier time.
Seller makes a point to say it's 'as-is'............ Need to get some 'current' pics on this one....

Notice the rear left bumper filler panel is (apparently) now gone versus the garage garbage can pic.

Yes, you could. Available, apparently, on any '76 Buick Century. Here's the relevant page out of the '76 Buick brochure.

That’s gotta be a shill. I don’t believe it either jwdtenn. I just can’t get that garage photo out of my mind to think that was a pampered car that doesn’t have something else going on with it.

I lean the way you both are thinking, but you never know, maybe there are 2 bidders who always wanted one of these? And if the paint & decals are presentable it might be OK?
