Yeah in that area its scrap metal, besides needing at least an engine, and dash, and all the wiring damage by the "rats" in CA if the car has not been plated in years you need to pay all the back registration fees to title it. No wonder it was no bids at the $250.00 starting price.
Yeah. Poor thing what a sad sack. It does amaze me what and how people treat stuff. That was probably a 70,000 mile car that could have been enjoyed by someone. Oh well I guess that’s what makes our classics more valuable.
You should still be able to pull up the expired ad, this picture almost makes it look like it had either a water pump or cooling fan issue that parked it, so around 70,000 miles is probably about right. Small dents & dings, & broken tail lights look to be the worst of the body damage. And what ever horror's are hidden under that 1/2 Vinyl roof! But not drivable and probably $2000 of back registration money due (if you planed to register it in California, if any other state it isn't an issue) doomed it unfortunately
Ugh, you can see the holes under the rear window, covered by the vinyl. Yeah, here in Western WA, there's no back registration, thank God.
