    Yes, the Custom coupe was the fixed rear window alternative.

    I think you could get the HT body style all the way thru the 1976 Model year.

    And I think the only thing working against this car is the color's. And the bad dash board but other than that it is a nice example and the asking price is not out of line.

    I would much rather have this Sport coupe over the Custom coupe. But that's just me.
    I don't mind the color on this one, but you are probly right cammerjeff, it's likely a factor for a lot of potential buyers.

    '75 was the last year you could get a true 2-door hardtop in the full-sized Chevy line. In '76, they changed the roof to this:

    Somewhat surprisingly, you could still get a true 4-door hardtop in 1976 though!

    True, both Caprice and Impala were 2-door coupes only f0r 1976.
