V6. Have you ever seen once since 1975? (Or even then? ) http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-LOW-MI...-ORIG-MI-/141413963841?_trksid=p2054897.l4275
I have seen a few, but I am a H-body Guy also. And believe it or not all 75-80 Skyhawks are V-6 cars. Most had odd or even fire 3.8's and a few 78-80's received the smaller 3.0 or 3.2 can't remember the displacement at the moment. Its was a Buick thing, Monza, Sunbird, and Starfires could have a I-4, V-6, or V-8. Nice looking car, and while I have never seen this particular car, I know the former owner and he collected nothing but the best examples of H-bodies. While the price is High from this dealer. The buyer will be getting a very nice rust free and correctly restored car.
Have one in my building. Had one when I was a kid new (my first new car), 1975 model too. While nice, the one on ebay is nowhere close to being correct.
Here's a link to a Canadian version of the '75 Skyhawk brochure.. http://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/buick/75sky/75sky.html Brad - What's incorrect about the 'for sale' car?
Well....since you asked... Incorrect pinstripes, two tone not available, wrong hubcaps, rear appliqué' between taillights incorrect, wrong front grille trim, dash pad emblem on passenger side not correct, wrong radio, wrong rear speakers, engine painted wrong shade of blue, wrong exhaust, etc, etc, etc... Shall I continue? Like i said, nice car but incorrect as far as the little details are concerned.
I agree that they look like alloys but in reality they are plastic wheel covers. They are from a later year Skyhawk.
Correct engine color for 1975 (and 1975 only) Buick. Before they used Buick Red and after, GM corporate powder blue.
I can dig it! My first car in the mid-80s was a '76 Skyhawk S. Odd-fire 231 with a 4-speed. It was a real fun and practical car.
