    It looks like a repaint. At least, if it was cab yellow without having added a vinyl top, one could then christen it to serve as a taxicab (once again?). In fact, the shade of yellow seen below looks cab original.
    Here, they could have done better than that:

    I agree those late model Matador Sedans are not the best looking examples. And I would have to agree with the repaint. It looks like a well maintained 102,414 miles to me, not the 2,414 miles claimed by the seller. This picture of the slightly offset first digit of the odometer says it all to me.

    And the interior while in very good condition (probably just had the clear plastic seat covers removed from it) the colors just do not work with the exterior color to my eyes. It doesn't clash, but solid black would look better to me.

    Maybe could believe a turned back 52,000 miles, garaged, and plastic seatcovers.
