One of my favorite Mopars. If that 440 were a Six-Pack, that would be the bee's knees.

The trans code is 'D21;' which trans model does that denote?

My boss at the restaurant in 1971 bought a new GTX. 440 was standard in them. His was an automatic. Got to drive it around the block. As a 19 year-old, it kinda scared me. Didn't want to wreck the bosses' new machine....... What I liked best about it was the thick-rimmed 'Tuff' steering wheel. Felt like a real 'race car' wheel.

If I was a gambler, I'd suspect he was asking between $75-80k. If I wanted a laugh I'd say he wanted an even $100k, which wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility in a good market with Mopars for some strange reason.

He may have gotten closer to $75-80 if this had been a ‘69 or ‘70.
