Welcome Waggin. Seems like a very worthy project. C'mon guys. Need a knight in shining armor to save the Squire. mike
to the group. Explain to your husband how rare and how useful station wagons are. They are getting harder to find and well worth saving. Good luck.
Welcome! I'm also in the Atlanta area. Did you get the wagon that was listed over in South Carolina, recently? If not, that might be a good candidate, if it's still on Craigslist. Seems like it was right at $1000.
Here's a discussion that we had about the one in Columbia, SC, back in November. I'm sure it's long gone. Or maybe this is yours? http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28169&highlight=torino+squire There was also one listed, on Craigslist Georgia, around the same time.
i have a torino wagon and a 68 ford wagon.. not sure what yours looks like.. do you have a pic i think this may be close to yours and i am sure this one is too new i think this is a 71-72
Welcome aboard! Good for you on saving your wagon from your husband - what's wrong with him? . Maybe if you show him this forum he can gain a better appreciation for the wagon.
Welcome to the nuthouse we call home. Love that 69. Be sure to post pictures, please! If my sometimes faulty memory serves, your 69 has a tailgate and interior panels in common with a couple other years and models. I THINK the 69 shares a tailgate with the 67 and 68 model years. Check a Hollander's Manual, but I suspect the tailgate is also common to the Falcon of those same years. For sure, it will be the same as the Mercury equivalent of those same years. That will give you a LOT more options for finding the parts you need.
