At first glance, not one single feature carried any typical Ford hallmark. Even if not intended to be just experimental, you could bet that GM would have sued Ford because of a production version, since there was too much Pontiac and Buick to be interpreted in this design. Front and rear have just a hint of Thunderbird. The front looking typically Italian, reminiscent of Alfas and Ferraris
The Aurora was a show concept for Ford in 1964. I agree that some of the styling does look like it was copied from GM. In 1969 they tried again with Aurora II which you can see had much more of the Ford influence styling.
