    Hi All,

I hope you and yours are having an enjoyable Holiday Season.

I don't believe that I have posted a picture of my Comet wagon, so here it is. I like it as it is pretty funky. Especially, from the back. I hope to go camping in it once we get past the present sub zero temperatures up here in North Dakota. Yuk!

    Happy Holidays!

It looks so mint that I'd be afraid of letting it off of the driveway

Wow! That's a beautiful wagon. Looks like 'deluxe trim', too, which is fairly rare in the 2-door version.

Wow, very cool! We had a 61 or 62 Comet 4 door when I was a kid that my Mom bought new while my Dad was at sea, he was not happy about it. We took it to Ireland and he gave it to some neighbors when we left and they cried like it was a brand new Cadillac...

I bought a 1960 white rustbucket Comet 2 door from an old lady for $75, when I was still in highschool. I worked at a gas station, after school, as part of an automotive tech apprenticeship program which I attended during the last 2 hours of school. Working at such places was the best way to get cool cars. I really liked the Comet, because it had plenty of charachter. The 3-speed wasn't synchronized. However, it was geared down pretty low. I beat all other 6-bangers off the line with it, because of that
