I've clipped a bunch of car ads, including all of these station wagon ads. These are originals, not reproductions. Prices as follows:

Single page: $4 ea (+$2 for each additional ad)
Double page: $6 ea (+$3 for each additional 2-page ad, or +$2 for each additional single page ad)

Shipping is extra and should be about $3-$4 to most places inside the U.S.

Please let me know if you are interested in any and which specifically.

    Thanks,
    Paul

I've got a stack of large "life" mags from the 6os and thought about ripping them up for the car adds myself. I wonder if you could get more $ if you framed them? How's the demand so far?

None, but the space savings has been phenomenal. ;) It is nice to have them out to see, but this isn't a revenue stream. I will likely end up framing a bunch of them in simple, inexpensive frames and do a wall in the office with them. I clipped about another 50 or so of various models (not all wagons) from the remaining magazine I had left, so plent of material to work from.

im all about space saving. I'm not doing anything with the mags and we all know how Vietnam ended, why harp on it?! You have a great idea, cut em up, cheap frames, everywhere. I just moved and have basement half finished half garage. that would be perfect wall cover. I'll take some pics when I get around to it... in a couple years:slap:

Oh, look! A Silver Twinkie! That one in the ad is the very style I want, before the redesign in the mid-Sixties.

I had a cousin twice removed who was an Air Force Thunderbird way back when they flew F4E Phantom IIs. When they came to town, Dad, a Naval Officer at the time, brought his Aunt, my cousin's mom, to the flightline here in South Everett at Paine Field...I think it was Summer of '72 or '73. anyway, I forget my cousin's first name but he was a Major at the time, and Dad said that the pilots and my cousin were gathered round, jacking jaws, when my cousin saw his mom, he called out, "Hi, Mom!" She answered back, "Hi, Twink!" To which my cousin got incensed and red-faced, blurting out "MUH-THURR!!!" See, my cousin was a fiend for Hostess Twinkies as a kid, so everybody called him "Twink," which he thoroughly detested. Dad figures the pilots had a good old time harassing him about it.

That's a good one. Seems to be the way with the homegrown nicknames, they stem from something in your life you'd rather no one knew about. You can usually bet that the guy who goes by rocky, snake,or killer probably gave that name to himself:coco:
