Problem solved. I bought two new double nippels (is that really the right english word?) and some Teflon-tape, one of the nipples was a wrong one...
I agree, a friend of mine owns a 76 Buick Estate Wagon and its shifts are so smooth, feels almost unreal.

I did it with electrical-tape and it worked very well. I don't have to slam the doors anymore, it's very smooth for such heavy-metal.
