Ha, I was just tempting you. 500 Caddy, there's your bolt in toque monster!
Those wide lower trims can cover a lot of rot before they fall off. Maybe a good thing though if it's rusty. You'll be less tempted to rod it.
I say buy it, it's cool.

This is what I drove when I used to live back East. A '78 Crestwood wagon (Dodge Monaco). This thing was fully loaded and in not too bad of condition for a NY car......until the morning I found 'black ice' and took out 40ft of guardrail with it.

This pic was after taking out the guardrail. The wrecker pulled the car back onto the road, and I drove it home. All the damage was down low, it looked like someone had taken a ginsu knife to the underside, the spare tire well got ripped off.

This was back about 1990, when wagons could still be had for CHEAP. I paid $150 for this car, wrecked it, drove it another year, and sold it to someone who wanted the 400 for $250.

Funny thing is, in the two winters I drove it, I never put on a true snow tire and never had an incident other than the one with the ice. The car always plowed thru.

    *sigh*

That the one DR was looking at?? Hope not....wanted him to go see that car. It'll bring more money on eBay....unfortunately. Wish he would have looked at that car and I hope this isn't it. Maybe they'll sell it outside of eBay if it IS it though.

It sounds like the same car Fox, the graigs list ad even mentions the damaged door mirror and the ebay ad shows it.

Main question I have is, WTF is with the 2 completly looking driver sides? Just how old is the graigslist pic??

You just don't get the pledge out and make this big of a differnce.

    Graigs....

Probably a much older pic on craigslist. Notice the difference in tires from craigslist to the ebay ad.

Yep, it's the same one. The owner said if I want it to bid on it. I was going to offer $550 for it. I guess I'll wait to see if he gets any bids on it.

Yeah, I did see that also.....I hate BS out dated pics. The Graigs ad is the classic example of going to see a car and then being F'n ticked off because the car is'nt what you thought. I've recently sold some cars, a couple pics were "out dated" but I mentioned that fact and what to expect because of in my 4 sale ads

I drive my Magnum all year round as it is my only car. I don't even use snow tires, I just put the stock all season 17"s back on it (in my Sig picture I have the 18"s on). I don't put weight in the back such as bags of cat litter. I just keep the gas tank as full as possible. The weight of the gas near the rear axle seems to work better. Really hard to fishtail this thing in the winter because it has a traction control system that is actually a Mercedes designed. Of course here in Rochester, we don't get the amount of snow as in say Canada or Michigan or Chicago.

Always use my wagon for winter driving, though it can suck at times like a heavy snow fall over night, ill have to shovel or drive back n fourth to make tracks for it to get out, but our AWD Subaru doesn't care and drives right through anything like its not there.

Looks like a good deal to me. It has rough spots but that interior sure looks nice.

Bleah, winter, don't remind me, it's just around the corner.
Don't you just hate sweeping the snow of your roofrack!
