JMac...I couldn't help noticing your wagon is sittin' much better with tongue-weight in this picture. If you remember to balance the load-car properly, you can keep the strain on your car to a minimum. I've seen alot of guys that think you have to pull the car all the way forward and, in doing so, they end up with the front-wheels of the tow-car hangin' in the breeze.

With the load-car balanced correctly over the trailer axles, the tongue of the trailer should feel like about 100-150#'s to lift off of the ball. Any heavier, and you risk unloading the front axle of the tow-car (which does most of the braking, and all of the steering). Much lighter, and the trailer will "dance" as you gain speed, because the trailer is trying to "bump-draft" the tow-car, rather than following it.

One of my favorite tricks for tow-trailers is laying "E-track" down each wheel-bed (like you see on the sides of delivery trucks), which allows you use movable chocks for the front tires (helps to prevent "rocking" in the straps), and also allows you to use "no-touch" saddle-straps over the tires for high-value vehicles. I'll see if I can find some links for this stuff...
