So I call Andy this morning, and ask him if he has a spare Fairmont Tailgate latch because mine broke a critical spring, but I need a tackwelder to weld the one pivot pin. Up here, a Fox wagon is rare enough, but the pre-1982 wagons are rarer than hens' teeth. After 1982, the entire latch is totally different. And he's got an NOS in stock? Andy says, Yeah sure, but its gonna cost ya! Oh yeah? Take it out my written off Monty, and install the new one so I can keep storing my parts in her. I'd be screwed without that friendship. Between us, we probably have a 4th Fairmont. We're breeders.
Diego kudos for taking the ol girl into your heart thats some beautiful work you did to her!! luv the colour
