greetings newbie to this site

    ive trolled this site before and figured it was time to join so i can utilize all that is offered
    i have a 53 pontiac wagon that im working on and could use all the help i can get im putting a sbc 350 in it since it didt have motor&trans mounts already fabbed and welded in and it will be mated to a 700r/4
    those are in and am working on altering header so it will fit next to steering box basically im rebuilding from a shell and its going alright but im broke so dragging on finding some of the missing parts would keep my focus so heres the question any one know where i can get some some parts i need can be got from chevy wagon same year any help would be appreciated and am glad to be apart of this forum finally

    Lotta work to do, wagwheel...but I sure do love those 'ol Poncho wagons. I hope you bring it back to it's original glory.(y)

    yea was smitten first time i saw it

    had to have it
    endured quit a few "what a piece of junk" statement
    in one ear out the other

    Cool old Poncho, waggin. One of the things I loved about Pontiacs of that vintage was the lit hood ornament of some indian chief. Do you know if they had them on the wagons too?

    yea they had them on wagons i just dont have one tryin to aquire from ebay but prices

    are way to high lot of almost wons though
