Was just thinkin, would any one like a non wagon forum?
The reason I bring this up is I have been working on my other cars a lot.
I'm completely putting a new suspension in the wife's 66 mustang.
And next month I plan on doing a 3 speed to a T5 trany swap.
Maybe this winter a front disc conversion.
I belong to other Forums and it does help me from time to time just reading what other guys are doing to there cars / trucks/ tractors
    Just a thought.
    What do you guy/gals think?
    Thanks,

    Rick

I could add a "non wagon automotive forum" to the miscellaneous section.

I added a poll, lets see what the other members think about this.

Actually it is an interesting idea. Altho it is the fact that this forum is dedicated to wagons that attrached me here. I too have been on other forums, this one has been the most informative and entertaining by far. The others seem to be Make orineted (eg. Chevelle Club, Jimmy Forum, Canadian Poncho to name a few).Where this forum is Model orineted and open to all Makes from anywhere, I find that very intriging and different. However, as FT suggested the lounge is open to a variety of topics so it seems this forum has even thought of that, giving it's members a place to bring up topics outside of it's original theme. Well that's just my take on it.:)

Other forums have "other rides" sections.
    I'm OK with it.

I'm good with it too. My wagon will be a Mustang/Fox transplant for years, since parts are harder to find for replacement/repair.(y)

I think it would be cool to see what other cars members are working on, especially here as it wouldn,t be limited to 1 model as many other forums are. Nothing wrong with model specific forums, I used to visit the Galaxie forum 'til it got messed up (hacked). With many different models shared you get alot of different ideas for what you're working on.

Sure, I think it might be a good idea. Wagons are my undeniable favorite, but I enjoy looking and hearing about other classics as well, especially convertibles.

Why not? Almost every other automotive forum has a section for non-related vehicles. I certainly wouldn't mind checking out other nice rides, trunk or no trunk.

I agree. As long as it doesn't take away from the main idea of the board, I think it would be a good thing. I'm a member of a 348-409 Board and we even have a Small Block Chevy Engine forum on there.
