This pic is a few weeks old BUT what I noticed when I loaded the pic from the camera at the time was.......WTF happened to the bace board trim??? I found it, all chewed up beside the house. It was loose,he's a Pup, thats my fault Heres Rascal.... a bit concerned with WTF is that thing (me with camera). When I found the trim piece it was pritty eazy to fugure out who the culprit was...Talk about GUILT while Kirby gave me the look of..."Me, you must be joking?"! Rascal never attacked the house since. How Ever....if I leave the sock drawer open, but thank god he leaves dirty socks alone! This would be just before the last pre surgary dump run/cleaning shop. 1st week of September. I used a cane for the clutch....I don't recomend this though My wagons at the same time, Honeys Mini Van in the back ground....A real Mini van, full frame, rear wheel drive My Favorite, the Crewzer....who's gona guess what those hub caps are from? I never did post pics at the time for some reason, but heres a pic of my (both seats) 6 way power buckets and modified console from a Crystler Concord. The whole fit and colour match was pritty scary good.
Tedy, you got me on the hubcaps. I consider myself a wheelcover expert and thought for sure I'd be able to identify them when I enlarged the pic, but no luck. Give me a hint; they do look somewhat familiar but I just can't come up with it.
Yeah, you got me too. I'd guess something Mercury, but I'm definitely guessing... BTW - I really like your truck too!!!
I think you may be right, 442. Are they from a '67 Cougar? Even after looking at both pictures, I'm not sure.
Dang it. I think you are right. I for sure thought the Cougar covers were a bit different. I think it's a match.
Yup, they are from my 67 Cougar. I've had those hub caps on scores of cars over the years, they IMO just seem to flow good on any car I'vre had them on. Those are my winter tires, 2 steel rims, 2 ralleys. The wire covers don't work on the ralley rims.
Does that GMC have the 305 V6? I remember my friend had one and the plugs are on the intake manifold side of the heads. I a heavy rain he went nowhere. The water would splash up and fill the recesses and short 'em out.
I've heard of that exact same problem with the 305 V6, I've also heard that they were a gas pig comparible to a big block, but they were designed for torqe so... No, my truck is the good old 250 inline, c/w the factory 1 barrel carb....same thing youd find on a lawn mower I'm glad that in the trucks history no one ever got rid of the oil bath air cleaner....45 years old and working like a champ...how old is every one elses air cleaner?
Nice looking vehicles. Those seats and console do look good in the Cutlass. I do like those G-Body wagons. It looks like your garage became angry and starting spitting stuff out onto your driveway
i noticed the neighbor across the street has a kei truck(japanese mini truck) (dihatsu hijet, honda acty, etc)... are those road legal in canada?
Legal yes....they are a soda pop can on wheels, I honestly can't believe they passed ANY saftey standards considering what the standards are for built in Noth America cars/trucks is. Transport Canada must have gotton a HUGE ...$kickback..... to let these on the road out here, they are nothing more than a pop can.
Not familiar with that kind of truck, but it looks pretty small. Depending on how it is classified it might be exempt from some safety/emission standards. I know a couple years back when gas was really high there was a dealer around here selling some three wheeled truck type vehicle and I remember wondering the same thing.
