They are at the zoo, my family bought a visit for me at my birthday.
In Sweden its illegal to own wolfs or breed hybrids wolf/dogs.

It was quite amazing to be surrounded by 6 wolfs. They are not demested, but use to have humans around them. A couple a times a year you can read in the paper about visitors who has been bitten. Often is people who doesnt havent any idea to read wolf/dog-language.

 

Interesting...and, yes, I understand what you were doing and doing correctly. You were being submissive to the alpha male and gave him the opportunity to check you out.
Or......maybe he thought you were his bitch.

Beautiful animals, several years back I was able to meet one that was a pet, there were 3 total but in a erie way the other 2 stayed completly out of site but you knew they were watching. Although pets, when we entered the caged several acre outside pen both owners (husband+wfe) packed side arms and one of them was always watching the woods. This was in rural BC close to Alaska. this was 15-20 years ago

My parrents origonate from Latvia, on my Mothers side the family pet was a wolf. My sister has a rare picture of my Mom, Aunt, and the Wolf from the early 30's


Great pics, Our old Shep just loves water nomatter what time of year. Our new pup...he does'nt want to come inside at all when it's raining, yet when it was hot summer you needed a crane to get him in the back yard baby pool

Nope Guys, 400km=640 miles...

1km=1,6miles

But yes, it´s a daytrip, about 4,5 hours+coffebreaks.

Btw one of my sir-names is Wolf. Coincident?

 

Nope it's the other way around, .6 miles per kilometer.
Or 1.6 km per mile. .6 x 400 = 240 miles.
