Hi from sunny Cali. I recently acquired a 55 Plymouth Belvedere Suburban. Can say enough about it. Its a beaut. I will be posting a few pictures of it shortly. I think I will be the only wagon of my type on here. I am interested in finding out more about the cars history and really figuring out just how many are left. I think I have heard that there are only 50 registered in the US as of now, and I have one. Gald to be part of the group, look forward ot seeing everyones cars, and hopefully attending events.
Thanks! Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Ive put a few pictures up that I had from the original location I got the car. Enjoy! More to follow in the days ahead as I start working on her.
Nice wagon, tat! Patrick80, one of our members, had one of those and I know another guy that has one. Not many around for sure and a bitch to find parts for. You have a rare wagon.
My '55 Yes it is. I have been very lucky to be running across things that I need, and the car in better than great shape and condition for its age. not missing many things on it.
wow...that's great that you have a pretty complete wagon. I'll tell you....if you need things or have questions about something, Patrick80 did a number on his before he sold it. He knows sources and knows these cars. Give him a PM and he will bury you with good info about your wagon and other Mopar info.
My mistake....Patrick's car was a 56. Nevertheless....he is a great source for you. This is his car before it was painted.... http://stationwagonforums.com/forums/garage_vehicle.php?do=view_vehicle&id=87
