Noob from San Diego

    Its just me. I did my 1966 Corvair in bright yellow and purple naugahyde, back in University. It was a turbo Monza. Ran like the wind. Always loved naugahyde after that. If I had the right car, I'd do one again. Defintely an AC car with an oversized AC system. Never wear shorts when sitting on the seats. Could be why I don't have kids? :rofl2:

    Stormin' Norman and Silverfox, i like what your thinkin! Now you have me thinking about the patina. And i do have curb feelers on my 65 C10 cause i always ding up the whitewalls when i try to park it. Thanks for the ideas!

    Yeah, nailz. It's cheaper and cool now days. That car just polished up with the flaws showing as is would be a great looking honest car.(y)

    I haven't seen woodgrain stand up so well and fade so nicely on any car. I do woodwork and veneer work for a hobby, and some wood finishers bust their ballbearings to get that look.:rofl2:

    Thanks Rev, thats a very nice quiver you have there too! Yup, the vert lays frame. Might go that direction with the wagon....but lots of other stuff to do first!
