I'll be in next year, for sure. If I'm lucky, by 2009, I'll have my garage up and a good start on my RealWoody Cabriolet Ghia Wagon (just like the name). Then Stefan will have to come up with another class - Custom Handbuilt French Polished. :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

A little off subject but did you change out the rear end and the front spindles? In you pictures it looks like you have the four lug set up on the wheels. I thought all V8 cars had five lugs. Is this a wierd Mexico thing?

As far as I know, it was stock. My rearend is a different ratio though, from the factory. It's a 3.07 which came on Granadas, my headliner is a hoop-type, also a granada thing and a few other things like a Bosch Starter with the solenoid on top and a different bellhousing bolt mount for the Bosch starter. Dual horns (factory). The Fairmonts came with a 3.08 rearend, cardboard headliner, Ford starter, single tone, horns and duraspark distributor, mine had points.

The one thing that was really weird was the rear drums. They were thicker than US/CDN drums. And tons of Undercoating with the AC option, probably saved the car from our crap, cause it was super free of rust underneath. Floors were virgin steel. Now they're good for another 20 years!:)

    Beater

I was thinking of putting the Draggin' Wagon in the Beater Class. I tend to "Beat" on the Cruiser pretty hard....

The pic below is coming out of John Force style burnout:

OK, so that's not the idea of a beater....:)

    Grins,
