So these are some pictures I took from a different angle at Hooterville (Vanderhoof BC) at their show and shine...
Great shots FF. Thanks for posting them. Looks like it was a great turn out, even if there weren't any wagons.
Geeze, FF....as long as you were there why didn't you shoot more pix!?Lots of great looking cars there. Funny thing though....when I go to car shows, as opposed to wagon shows, I see many nice cars like these that FF has offered....but....all those cars seem "unfinished" to me. They all need a long roof and more room! I know, I know.......people just don't understand wagon guys like me.....
No wonder you've got exclusive clients from all over. You take excellent pics, and even get the Hydro guys to 'beam ya up!'
Great shots, FF! That looks like it was a great show - something for everybody. One even looks identical to my first car - a '63 Cutlass post coupe in tan/gold(?) with tan interior.....
That Oldsmobile is in very nice shape and the fulla drives it around quite a bit...It is the only one that I know of around...
J D had his 53 Chev there also...It see's lots of use and is on the road every summer for many many years... John had the 55 Nomad there pulling his Boler trailer which is now on a tour somewhere in southern BC....
Took timing to get that shot of a Ford logo as the car was coming in..I bad..you only one to notice... I have sat with John and the Nomad with the boler trailer and his biggest complaint is the boler gets all the attention and the Nomad is like an also ran...He duz have the boler fixed up real nice inside also...
I was looking at Bolers (and Scamps) the other day, thinking one would look cool behind my wagon. It's the right vintage, and a two-tone white/gold treatment would work well... Now if I can just win Powerball!!!
Now seeing it up close, it's not the same color. Mine was more 'tan/gold' loking, with a tan vinyl interior. Same body though.....
The two cars at the show that attracted my attention were Canadian models that we never got south of the border. One is the yellow 67 Pontiac Beaumont 2 door hardtop (I see a 4 door sedan too ), and the other is the red 69 Dodge Monaco convertible with the black convertible boot.
