    Cool tracktors:yup:

Mine is not really a strange viehicle but all strange on how it happened etc.

In my early 20's my daughter and I rented a room from a guy in his 40's who turned out to become a dam good friend not only to me but my daughter. My budy Gord restored a 67 Buick GS in his garage and my little girl was always getting dirty, grabbing wrenches for him etc. Gord also had a 74 Jensen with a lotis motor that was going to be next for a paint, the Jensen was stored at a friend of a friends house in the basement. Gord sadly was killed doing what he loved best, working on cars. Gord jacked a car up by the rad support to put jack stands under it, the car had no wheels and was on horrible rock terain...Gord was crushed, RIP Gord.

Gords only surviving family member, a brother came and collected Gord's Buick, his other cars, and I thought the jensen also. Over a year passed and I get contackted by the fellow who was storing the Jensen and he says he's a bit woried about the car witch is still in his bacement because twise with in a week the house was broken into and the window they are getting in, well the hood of the Jensen is being jumped on and now damaged. The guiy tells me the phone # for the brother is disconected but every three months he gets a cheque in the mail for storage but now a month is over due.

I could not find the brother also and the fellow seamed more concerned about the car rather than the $. I paid the one moth owing and had the Jensen towed to my parrents house, It was a dam nice car except the hood damage and what a freeken cool engine.

2 or 3 days after I got the car the house it was in cout fire and burnt to the ground. a week or so after that my friends brother called my parrents house because he could'nt find my phone number. He had moved and lost the mailing address to where the car had been stored.

A week later a friend of the brother came to Victoria and got the car, I can't remember how much, but the fellow gave me a few Hundred$ from the brother for getting the car.

The last I know of the Jensen, it went to the brothers son around the 100 Mile House in the interiour of BC. This was the early 90's.

Pic of a Jensen, in red as was the car.

RIP Gordy Roy, Your pic of you in the shop with my Cougar and your Buick still sits on my fire place mantle!:drink:

"In the beginning, Henry made Ford, and Rev saw that it was good, and bought a Horn. And God rested. Now Rev has run out of fingers and toes, enough to count all the horns and cars beneath them.:biglaugh:

dont get me started!....the hick across the street does demo for a living during the summer and is a school bus mechanic during the school year.

luckily he usually run fwd 4 cyl class, hence the alero in the background too...except he screwed up the passive anti theft system...and the car still wont start!

    whijco
....awsome story...it would make a great movie!
