Yeah, snoot....I thought that was a sleeper but 4spd found a Craigs List ad on that car for $2995. The car is rough and bare bones. He won't get his reserve if it's any where near that figure. It's at just a little over $500 now with one day left.

Well let's clear some things up. That LT-1 swap should actually be hard provided you do one thing. Hack up the roadmaster. What you need to understand is that these two cars are all the same underneath. The frames are identical. it's just the bodies that are different. So you have all the parts you need for the swap, and since you get to see where everything is on the current car as you take it off you see where it goes on the new car. The biggest problem you might have is fuel lines as I am not sure whether they are the same and they are a pain to take out let alone put back. But if you want quick and easy just get a bigger Olds engine like a 350 or 403. It will swap right in.

Just a quick thank you everyone for your input...it was immensely appreciated. We've decided to keep looking around to see what we can find and continue limping around on the poor ol' girl....

    Have a good one...

my suggestion. get an 80's wagon...maybe not that one.
like stick said...buy a built 350. and put that in. and sell your 94 to blackfoot!!:)

as the fox and i have learned the LT1 is hot from the factory... but when you want more.. things get expensive quick!!!!
