Yeah Norm, I remember those roads.....

I have no clue where to look for a link or info but I do remeber this.....

The dirty 30's, when yes North America had a drout and the wind blew farm land to dust. Why? North America became industialized and it was the beggining of Mom and Pop farms being industrialize( Big companies, the roaring late 20's, idiouts who never watered a flower let alone planted a field). Mom and pop planted rows of trees to break up wind because they ...had a clue. Industrialation started and, well get rid of all those rows of trees etc and you will have more farm land to acre. NO CLUE that the frigen trees/bushes stc that we as kids would still see between a few acres of soil kept the wind and rain from blasting every thing away, even in a drout.

I'm not picking on Mr. Tiki, I was just trying to give him an objective female opinion. I have asked the hubby to do something, and it did'nt really matter, but when he said no, then it mattered alot. BTW I have driven, and still do, an old Chevy truck, with 2 car seats in the front. Sometimes you do, what you gotta do.:chirp:
