i went with my car club to caste village (a local shopping plaza) for a weekly car cruise they have. you'll have to excuse the quality in some of the shots....the sun and the crowds were not working with me.....so here is an idea...paste your favorite out of this album of mine!!! ( oh, and to our canadian friends:....see if you can find the canadian car!!!) http://s335.photobucket.com/albums/m454/a1awind/caste%20village%205-30-10/ here is my favorite! from what the owner told me ...its all original except the paint and is a 2 owner car. the first owner bought the car and immediately replaced the V12 with a caddy V8. and when he retired the car... he put the original V12 back in.
Nice pics Ian! I'll take a shot at the 2-door 1958 Chevy (grey/green) as the Canadian entry. The rear wheels are really narrower to the US Chevies. Could be the lighting, but I'm 90% sure.
I found it too... I see them around VT once in a while since we're close to the border... The grill gives it away...
sharp ain't it? i asked him how he ended up with it... he said he worked in canada and always liked them... his son wanted to do a big block car so he said ...how bout one of these. so they found one in Nova Scotia.
did you see under the hood? he said the flat head V12 is not powerful at all. but he said it is very smooth.
