But still: It says "members" and not "registered people" at the front page...:)

It's just an observation, (or obsevation, like in the title of this thread), not a big deal.
    Thanks for your answer (y)

I think I know what your saying, Looking at the for sales...any body should be able too, But I agree about a certain number of posts and or a time line before you can/should be able to sell.

It mite weed out the fast pich Escam/Kraigs list sellers.

I agree with Fat Tedy. I typically do not post a :Welcome:for those that obviously aren't interested in the Forum but only looking for parts or hawking their car.

I think of the forum more as a club than just a forum. That's how cool this place is.:thumbs2:

Must be disappointing to these 'seagull' types. We're so into the hobby and fraternity, that we spend each other's money and we're 'car-broke' ! Heck our wives always have an old rug and a case of dogfood ready, in case we buy another project! :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

While I agree for the most part there is some benefit to these guys.
Often people selling odd old cars are just looking for proper venue. It's not an enthusiast but someone needing to offload Grandma's car. This is a good place to do so and I welcome this sort of poster.

I originally came here looking to sell my Custom Cruiser but have enjoyed the group here and check in occasionally and contribute when I can.
As for the parst request; why not answer? The guy is looking for parts, recognizes you as possibly source and inquires. Maybe he's not looking for friends.

Manners and social grace are awfully scarce these days, particularly on the internet. Unless a member is obnoxious who cares if he doesn't introduce himself? Some just don't get it but are otherwise okay.

    EDIT: I'M a senior member?

You become a "senior member" after x amount of posts and or time. I should come up with some better names.
