Hi everyone, My name is Anthony. I'm 28yo and living in Waddinxveen (The Netherlands). Since a few months I'm the owner of an 1971 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser (see my avatar). The cruiser has a 350ci rocket engine. I also got a 1972 Plymouth Valiant With a L6 engine (225ci), but that doesn't belong on this forum.
Welcome Anthony. There certainly a few people from The Netherlands here. Do you also have a CNG conversion? I wouldn't mind seeing that Valiant.
Compressed Natural Gas. Maybe you call it LPG? It seems quite a few of the European owners convert from gasoline.
oh, ok. Now I get it My Cruiser is running on lpg. It's alot cheaper for us, because the gasoline prices are no fun in Holland Gasoline prices in the Netherlands are around $1.90 per litre and lpg costs around $0.80 per litre.
Anthony, I always find it interesting where cars will end up. Makes me wonder, were those sold at a dealership there or did you buy them in the States and ship them over? Are there a lot of older cars in The Netherlands? I can't imagine the local parts house sells parts for those, do they? I've always loved the Vista Cruiser. I had a neighbor who bought one of those brand new in '71 and as a kid it was awesome looking up through the roof. In fact I had a friend when I was in my late twenties who had one... and it was still cool then too!
