I am having problems with my A/C. It blows dry and hot okay but not ice cubes.
    I think I may have a leak.

    Any suggestions?

    Early.

Have you tested the pressure? The older ones had a 'view' window to see if the gas was ok. If you can't see movement, then odds are that its not fully charged or its leaking.

The problem with old A/Cs is they don't take to 134a all that well but the fix is simple if you can find a condensor made for 134a that will fit and of course changing out the orifice tube.

I've heard that Vintage Air makes a real good fit but I'm not familiar with Classic. I'm sure all these replacement systems are just about the same.

There is a dye that can be added to the system. Using a blacklight, the leak can be found.

Ford Nut is right on. We install Vintage Air units on all the cars we do. Yesterday I started on an install on a 64 Galaxie. I've never had a problem out of one.
