Had a similar thread over in my Focus forum, only it was a guy using sand to 'clean out his engine' - right down the intake.........

This is a VERY old thread from their Mustang forum. But still its staggering how truly stupid some people are. Pouring water from his garden hose in the motor crankcase. Pstttttttt !!!!!

Im not big on Mustangs but I do pity this car. It must have died a painful daeth.

The guy is as dumb as they come. He made his Cobra a parts car.

After the 2nd page I couldnt read anymore. Ive never seen before someone as stupid as this guy. This guy is much better off taking the bus or taxi cabs. Hes less dangerous to cars that way

I'm sure somebody sometime had done that but I really can't bring myself to believe it.

I just thought it was hilarious. I did check the date of the original post but it wasn't anywhere near April 1st.

    Funny.
It actually went on and on for 25 pages!
My first thought was this guy is just a forum troll looking to grab attention.
After reading his previous topic about how to change his oil and someone making a joke about flushing it with water, which gave him the idea, I'm not so sure he's not just a real dummy.
    http://mustangforums.com/forum/general-tech/365011-time-for-a-oil-change-question.html
Still can't rule out that he's just trolling for attention.

OK....I just read the thread that Steve posted above. After reading that I'm calling BS on this whole story line.

I have my suspicions too, Mike. The fact that it was a Mustang Cobra is what I keyed in on - obviously an enthusiast, should know better.

The idiot over on the Focus forum was real..........
( I looked for the thread over there but couldn't find it..... )

What I found fishy is that the guy kept coming back on and commenting. If it was true and he read all the replies saying what a moron he was, do you think he'd ever show his face again? I certainly wouldn't!!

I've seen another wild tale thread about a guy who poured a can of NOS energy drink into his motorcycle gas tank thinking it was fuel treatment.

The more I think about it, the more I think the guy is a forum troll just looking to get attention.
