I feel confident in knowing my Torino has two ashtrays and zero cupholders. I do however intend to install a two-place cupholder under the edge of the front seat like the ones you'd see in a Ranger pickup. I'm looking for a pic now. But in the meantime my wife's Durango has six cupholders and seating for five, with ZERO ashtrays. The one up front is missing and it hasn't got any in the middle row or back where a third row would be.

So now for that Rangeresque cupholder idea:

Two ashtrays, two cupholders. Or I could get the ashtray cup for it and have 3 ashtrays and 1 cupholder? Keep the ratio more proper? Where's that pic...

    Now we're talkin!

If the RAV has 10 cupholders and seats 5, I'd say that there should be some proper ratio of cupholders to passengers. Unfortunately, I think that notion went out the window years ago . . . Case in point: Does a child who still needs a car seat require TWO cupholders??

Directly below the HVAC controls... it pulls out... the ashtray pulls out below it. Took me awhile to figure it out. I dont smoke, but one day was pulling out the "drawers" to see what was there and discovered the ash tray with the original lighter, neither have never been used. :)

all 3 of mine have 3 and zero

    1 front and 2 rears

The wagon has 3 ashtrays and 3 lighters (new elements but rears are inop nasty cruddy sockets [front is fine and gets used daily]) and the Toro has 3 ashtrays and 3 lighters, all new, all work

cupholders - just the cheesy walmart ones sprayed to match interior. they work :)

My Buick will have 4 ashtrays and 3 lighters...the factory Electra setup.
I'm going to put in a console from a Riviera that used to have floor shift, but will now have 2 cupholders.
