ok so i bought this car and i cant get power to the rear window switch....if i put power to the wires it works but all my fuses are good..i get no power any where and my book shows a breaker after the fuse?????but where is it???????please help thanks mktnk70
taking a guess here but for 76 (which would have started in 71, maybe 70 as well) my windows, p/seats, tailgate & rear window all are on a 40amp breaker at the fuse box. I am fairly certain that the key at the rear bypasses that breaker (maybe not) because the key works with the ignition off. just had my window fixed Sat, dash switch would only close the window, worked fine from the key out back. My switch was bad. swapped it with the tailgate switch that I never ever use.
thanks for the info but mine has nothing anywhere ....until i hot wire the switch at the dash then it all works up and down?????????but how do i get power all fuses are good?????
