Thanks BFM. Yeah, I really love it and now that Spring is finally here, I'm going to wax it up and take some better pics of it to post here. There's a couple of us in the area who are talking about going to a car show in June sometime. I think we're going to try to meet somewhere and travel there enmasse, so we'll have a parade of wagons cruising together. You should get that Grand Marquis and join us. Mine is far from show quality, as it's all original with a few dings here and there, (no rust, thank goodness), but it'd still be fun to show it.

 

Well snooter....If I do buy it (and I think I will), then......HELL YEAH I'll go to that car show in June! Funny.....I was helping my wife get ready for our company we're having today and for some strange and weird reason, I thought about where in NY you might be living. I take it the city??? I live I live in Hopewell junction (East Fishkill) in Dutchess County, but I'm from New Rochelle (outside the Bronx) I used to do a ton of work in the city and the Bronx. So tell me......we're do ya live?

 

I have a house in Cranford, NJ but since I work in the city, I also have a little coop on Jane St in the Village. I'm in my tiny studio apt in the city more than the 5 bdrm in Cranford. Currently, I'm trying to sell the Cranford house. I used to be able to afford it; not so much anymore!

 

I hear ya.....It's hard to afford anything nowadays. So you have a place in the Village too, eh. Well.....At least you get to see a different "Show" every day.....I mean hour.....I mean minute.

As for trying to sell your house, good luck. Rough time now to try to sell a house as I'm sure you are aware of. My older brother lives in Somerset, NJ. I'm not sure where Cranford is though.

So, do you know where this car show is in June? I remember somewhere on here a car show in Jersey was mentioned but I don't remember when and where.

 

Oh boy, I don't remember the particulars on this, but it was either the first or second weekend in June. As I recall, it was either in Cherry Hill or Flemington. Marcar was up for it; he might recall the particulars.
Cranford is about 15 miles out of the city, a few towns away from Elizabeth and Newark. I was born and raised there. Here's the listing if anybody wants to check it out, or even better, buy it!!

Nice house. Love the porch. Too rich for my blood though. I'm past the kid raising stage of my life. I just have my almost 17 year old son with us and soon, he'll get the boot. I want to downsize to a two bdrm. condo in Clearwater, Fl........ON THE BEACH!!
