    You know Jeffrey, Ive wondered why all of my 'Hood' ornaments are on the header myself. 85 Caprice, 89 Town car, 89 Colony Park, 72 Mark iv. All have the ornament on the header and in the way when youre working under the Hood. I guess thats why we've always called them 'Emblems"

    Aha! I never noticed that the pictures of the Oldsmobiles the hood ornaments are actually on the hood. Mine isn't. I feel cheated.

    I guess I have a header ornament, or a headlight/grill surround ornament.:rofl2:

    maybe it's GM thing - I know 70s Cadillacs were on the hood but then again Pontiacs were on the header. I don't know what to say!
