Rev, the Mercury was a cool wagon. Robin egg blue with the woody look. Only had about 45,000 miles on it when I got it. An older couple in Independence, KS bought it new and owned it until the gentleman died and the wife could no longer drive it. Someone from around here, KC, bought it with the intention of flipping it. He did, I had it and sunk some money into getting it road worthy. I don't recall the exact production numbers now, but they were few. Finding parts for it was a pain in the butt. It also wasn't a full frame wagon, which is what I'm looking for now as I'd like to have something that I can haul a trailer with. I sold it to a Mercury nut just outside of St. Louis. I asked him to keep in touch if he would just so I could see how the wagon ended up, and though he agreed initially, I never heard a word out of him. I miss that old wagon.
