Hi All, Have had a number of fun cars over the years, '67 & '74 Camaro, '65 olds F85 convertible, 65 El Camino. Had a '78 Malibu, '78 Volare, '80 Aspen, and 4 - '74 Nova's all Wagons. Does a Ramcharger count? '91. My first car was a '73 Plymouth Satellite 4 dr. Now I am looking for that style mopar wagon. No breaking my neck to find one ... but keeping my eye out. I build and fly RC airplanes and my current daily driver is a '95 grand caravan with the seats out. I figure a '71 to '74 B-Body wagon has at least the same floor space. Fantasy rides would be '56 to '58 Desoto or Fury wagons.
Welcome..FF You have found what is about the best place for wagon stuff. If they don't know where it is, they can tell you how to make it!!! Seem to be getting some interest from syrup country. Flying RC's...cool You pilot the real things, too??? Well, GOOD LUCK on the search...And...WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE... From sunny but cool FLA. Later, Bruce
foxflyer. Ramchargers and mini-vans really don't count. But, there's no rule that I know of that says you have to have a wagon to be a member. We'll motivate you to get a wagon.
And by the way... Thats one heck of a good cause your doing!!! (work-wise) My hat goes off to you...and that doesn't happen often!!! If I can help put some eyeballs on something for you... Just... ring me up !!! I have 3, 18 yr.olds that LOVE roadtrips...Especially when we get to bring cars back... That's a bad joke about a trip to Cinci...and back...without the wagon we wanted!!! From Fla. to Cinci and back in 2.5 days...What WAS I thinking?? Later, Bruce
correction I wrote Nova, but meant Vega! Thats right. Owned 4 Vega wagons. Cut the top off one and added conduit-and-fiberglass fender flares, back in the day. I do not fly full scale, just the little ones take all my time and allowance. Another cool wagon is the Suzuki Esteem. I worked at a Suzuki dealer when they came out. I always thought they were good little reliable, if tinny, get-around. Thanks for the kind words, bstout.... maybe.... roadtrip, hmm....
Welcome to the forum! Vermont's a small place - I'll bet we run into each other at some point... Well, better get back to work before the boss catches me goofing off again...
MAYBE... if... If...Fox and 442 should run into... Maybe... Brent...Several times...Rapidly!!! I could send you guys...SAY... A LITTLE GAS money!!! OK, OK, I'm over it !!! The wagon... Not the 'ROADKILL-BUZZBAIT!!!' (who had it) He ain't worth having to pressure clean the underside of the car over... FYI... Did you know in FLA.... Hit and runs are done just for the PURE sport of it??? 6 months on probation, and a little fine... Look it up!!! Really ...!!! (Hell, I did 6 yrs. in the USMC...Don't even remember much... execpt, maybe the DI's name and address...) RIP................ Gunny...and...YOUR little DOG!!! Old news... open wounds... Whats' new??? Damn...Flashbacks... I almost pray for STML...(but, I don't think it would help!!!) Later Guys, Bruce Ps. I don't get older, I get even !!! Not at you...442(and I may take you up on your offer)
FoxFlyer40. At first I thought a member with a handle like that was another Fox-bodied Ford guy. But you've got great taste in Mopars too! Have you ever cruised through Uncle Henry's classifieds in Maine? http://www.unclehenrys.com/ 1191 cars without being a subscriber. Always has some nice old gems.
