Hey y'all haven't been here in a while because i've been working on my 71 country sedan, but now I got A ?. Will a tank from a 74 country sedan fit in a 71? I can find sources f0r 74 and newer but for the 71 when it comes to parts specific to a wagon, it may as well be A UFO. thanx for any help.

Don't know for sure, but if I had to hazard a guess, I would say it should fit. Not much difference between '71 and '74 Ford wagons, under the skin.....

Might find different plumbing, though. Vapor return line, etc........

Compare the pictures and measurements from the 74 tank to your tank. If they look close, you should be good. Just use the proper sending unit.

I am in the same boat, but with a 69 Plymouth wagon. No one makes the tank for it. But....the tank from a 67 b body Mopar looks the same and has very close measurements to my tank. I bit the bullet and bought one. I should have it this week and I will be surely happy if it works out.
